Some children grow up wanting to be firemen, or policemen, or doctors. Grant Fowler grew up wanting to be a signwriter.

Grant left school at the tender age of sixteen to pursue his dream career. He began by practising freehand scroll paintwork and lettering on old truck doors. Fortunately for Grant, his parent's business owned a number of trucks and other vehicles, and it was on those vehicles that Grant first began perfecting his craft, well before the establishment of, and very much against the growing trend of the day to use vinyl cut lettering.

Word grew that the kid in the little country town of Trafalgar was a good operator and very skilled in his craft. His customer base grew accordingly, all by word of mouth.

Grant eventually established his own business formally in 1984 and, since that time, has become one of the leading signwriting businesses in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia.
